Two minutes' walk from the surf beach and two minutes' walk from the bush, this light filled and spacious Capricorn 151 house is cooled by the sea breezes. It was designed for the Queensland climate by acclaimed architect Gabriel Poole and is still as it was originally built in 2000. Situated in one of the most sought after streets on the island, it stands on a 650 m2 block and is a low-set house with a steel structure. It has spectacular 4.5 meter high cathedral ceilings and a breezeway which functions as an extra room. Internally, it is painted throughout in Linen White eco paint.
