The Phone Code for this property is: 29364. Please quote this number when phoning or texting.

Located in a resort of 51 units for over 50s in Currumbin waters, this is the perfect unit to downsize to. Access is via Galleon Way but it is set back so no road noise is heard and nearby at the rear is Currumbin Creek where people catch fish and mud crabs. The unit is fully airconditioned and has just been painted as well as having LED light fittings installed in December. The unit has a parking space in front of the door but it also has a lock up garage with electric door, currently with junk I am getting rid of. The unit is less than 100m from a medical practice, pharmacy, coffee shop and the resorts two swimming pools, one being shaded and the community hall that also has a well equipped gym. The resort has a manager who looks after the gardens etc and all that is covered in the modest Body Corporate fee, I paid $2479.72. last year. Like all retirement resorts there are EXIT fees. This unit has 3% per year that is capped at 5 years, in other words the MAXIMUM you pay is 15% of the selling price and there are no compulsory refurbishment fees etc. It is NOT run by AVEO. You pay NOTHING extra at purchase. Based on a purchase price of $380,000 if you leave after 5 years and sold it for say $450,000 the exit fee payable in 2024 would be $22,500. It was lived in by my step mother and although I would love to retire to it I still have 10 years on my farm in Victoria. The price is negotiable and reasonable offers will be considered especially if you have NOT seen it with the agent I had previously and are able purchase with a sale period under 30 days. Inspection can be arranged most days.
