This is a lovely property in North Katoomba NSW. You will fall in love with this quaint log cabin (we did!)......it features 3 bedrooms, lounge, dining, kitchen, internal laundry, bathroom and seperate toilet on an approx 800 square metre block.
The cabin has beautiful cathedral ceilings and timber paneling around the walls of the lounge and dining rooms. This has been a work in progress for us over the past few years....amongst other things we have painted all three bedrooms, the lounge and hall have been painted, a split system air conditioner has been installed in the lounge and gas ducted heating has been installed throughout the house...perfect for those winter mornings!
There is some renovation required and there are still a few things for you to do which will enable you to add your own personal touches to what will be a beautiful log cabin in a peaceful leafy setting and when you are finished you can sit back and enjoy the surroundings. The main areas that need renovation are the kitchen, bathroom and laundry.....since we are selling we have decided to leave these rooms undone as there'd be nothing worse than putting in a new kitchen that potential buyers didn't like! At least this way you get to add some finishing touches that suit you and complete the house. The cabin is looking a little tired and in need of a spruce up....some of the works that need to be done include new railings on the front verandah, replace some of the front deck etc..etc...
