This has been a wonderful family home to bring up our children. We have owned it for over 20 years but after retirement spend most of our time at our holiday house down the coast. It is very solid, clean and fully functional. It is a terrific house to live in - it "works". Small things like the study off the master bedroom are brilliant. It is sunny and takes full advantage of the northerly aspect. The large marble fireplace is a focal point for the family in winter. The house is perfect for entertaining. The internal sauna was used daily - awesome. Our children walked to Carey Grammar and Camberwell Girls Grammar. Jaques Street is a very safe cul-de-sac with a wonderful feel from the over-hanging trees, with nice quiet neighbours. Adjacent blocks are large giving lots of privacy. The huge swimming pool and spacious backyard was great for the kids as well as entertaining. The separate flat was terrific for visitors, family and the kids' friends - some stayed too long! The location is perfect with access to shopping and transport within walking distance. Access to the city is excellent. This is a very pleasant neighbourhood for Mum and Dad to take a walk each evening through the parks. We are sad to be selling the home that has so many wonderful memories but life is a journey and it is time to move on.
